About the academy

For over 25 years E-Salon has trained the South West's hairdressers and barbers. Our small-group academy combines accredited qualifications with real salon experience on the floor of our working main salon. Learners build technical skill, client confidence and the commercial knowledge to make a living in the industry.

Qualifications we offer

Apprenticeship routes: Hair Professional (Standard ST0214) and Barbering Professional (Standard ST0215) — typically 24–36 months, on-programme delivery plus end-point assessment.

Entry requirements

• Level 2: 16+. No formal qualifications required; initial assessment in numeracy and literacy.
• Level 3: successful completion of Level 2 in the same discipline, or equivalent salon experience.
• Apprenticeships: employed in a salon for a minimum of 30 hrs/week.

Roll-on / roll-off enrolment

We operate a flexible roll-on / roll-off scheme — learners can start at points throughout the year rather than waiting for a fixed September intake. Get in touch to discuss the next available start date for your chosen programme.
